Yes! This year, we will be providing chip timing, so please Pre-Register (by March 1) to participate in this exciting new feature!!
You will receive your race number the day of the event at CCC. Race numbers will not be mailed prior to the race unless specially requested.
Yes, you can register for the race at the event beginning at 7:30 a.m. - all are welcome! However, we strongly suggest pre-registering your family for the race. We cannot guarantee t-shirts for race day or late (after March 1) registrations. The race will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m.
If you pre-registered, we recommend that you get to Capital City Club in Brookhaven no later than 8:00 a.m. to park, sign a waiver, pick up your race number, and be ready to run by 8:30 a.m. If you have not registered, please come between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.
The race will begin and end at Capital City Club in Brookhaven. There will parking available at the club on race day.
Pound the Pavement for Peter will happen, rain or shine! In case of thunderstorms/lightning, we will update the website the morning of the race.
Absolutely! There will be many jog strollers in the race, and even a prize for the winner of the “Stroller DIvision” and “Double Stroller Division”
We are sorry, but no dogs are allowed on the Capital City Club property.
We will have a limited number of child sized t-shirts available on race day, but we recommend registering early for those sizes.
There will be some activities for children; however, neither Capital City Club nor Pound the Pavement will provide childcare. Parents are responsible for the care and safety of their children during the race.
For liability reasons, we ask that all runners officially register for the race.
All donors, corporate, family and private are greatly appreciated and will be accepted through race day. Due to printing deadlines, we cannot recognize any additional corporate sponsors after February 22, 2016.
