How do I Register??

See the buttons on the right of the page to Register as an Individual, as a Family Sponsor (starting at $150), and as a Corporate Sponsor (starting at $250). Thank you!

How much is the registration fee?

The suggested registration fee is $30 per person through February 21st and $35 per person after February 21st.

Registration fees will go directly to the Adaptive Learning Center, with half being donated to the Global Foundation for Peroxisomal Disorders. Family and Corporate Sponsorships are available - click the links to the right!

Can I donate more than the registration fee?

Absolutely! You can give any amount you wish to give, and we appreciate your donation.

We also have Family Sponsorship options, starting at $150, if you would like to sponsor as a family.

All registration fees and additional donations will be split between the Adaptive Learning Center, the Pediatric Palliative Care Program at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and the Global Foundation for Peroxisomal Disorders. Your additional donation can be combined with your registration fee - click on the right!

Can I make a donation and not participate in the 5K?

Will there be chip timing?

Yes! This year, we will be providing chip timing, so please Pre-Register (by March 1) to participate in this exciting new feature!!

How do I receive my race number?

You will receive your race number the day of the event at CCC. Race numbers will not be mailed prior to the race unless specially requested.

Can I register on the day of the event?

Yes, you can register for the race at the event beginning at 7:30 a.m. - all are welcome! However, we strongly suggest pre-registering your family for the race. We cannot guarantee t-shirts for race day or late (after March 1) registrations. The race will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m.

What time should I arrive at the race?

If you pre-registered, we recommend that you get to Capital City Club in Brookhaven no later than 8:00 a.m. to park, sign a waiver, pick up your race number, and be ready to run by 8:30 a.m. If you have not registered, please come between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.

Where should I park on race day?

The race will begin and end at Capital City Club in Brookhaven. There will parking available at the club on race day.

Will the event be cancelled if it rains?

Pound the Pavement for Peter will happen, rain or shine! In case of thunderstorms/lightning, we will update the website the morning of the race.

How can I volunteer to help out on race day?

If you would like to volunteer on race day, please contact Sarah Dozier at sarah_dozier@peachtreeplanning.com.

Can I run/walk with my jog stroller?

Absolutely! There will be many jog strollers in the race, and even a prize for the winner of the “Stroller DIvision” and “Double Stroller Division”

Can I bring my dog?

We are sorry, but no dogs are allowed on the Capital City Club property.

Will child sized t-shirts be available?

We will have a limited number of child sized t-shirts available on race day, but we recommend registering early for those sizes.

Will there be activities for children?

There will be some activities for children; however, neither Capital City Club nor Pound the Pavement will provide childcare. Parents are responsible for the care and safety of their children during the race.

Will the race provide qualifying times for other races?

No

May I participate without a number?

For liability reasons, we ask that all runners officially register for the race.

Can my corporation sponsor the race?

All donors, corporate, family and private are greatly appreciated and will be accepted through race day. Due to printing deadlines, we cannot recognize any additional corporate sponsors after February 22, 2016.
